Announcing the European Health Management Conference to take place in Bucharest, Romania on 5-7 June 2024
We are pleased to announce the 29th edition of the European Health Management Conference to take place on 5-7 June 2024 in Bucharest, Romania. The conference is an annual event organised by the European Health Management Association (EHMA), that this year we are proud to co-host together with the Ministry of Health of Romania/the National Institute for Health Services Management (INMSS).
The European Health Management Conference is Europe’s preeminent gathering in health management. It attracts over 400 delegates representing academia, research, hospital and community care, and industry to discuss the latest trends in health services and systems management. This scientific conference offers a rich and diverse programme made of plenary sessions, abstract presentations, workshops, and scientific dialogues.
The Conference theme, ‘Shaping and managing innovative health ecosystems‘ encompasses the entire spectrum of health megatrends, from the digital transformation of healthcare systems and services to the ever-growing importance of sustainability, and the evolving skill sets required by the healthcare workforce. The Conference aims to explore how the health sector is adapting to these changes with an emphasis on an ecosystem approach, promoting collaboration among stakeholders.
We are also pleased to announce that the Call for Abstracts associated with the Conference is now open. This is a great opportunity to showcase health management research and best practices in front of a wide international audience. Submitted research is a core part of the Conference programme and supports the vision of identifying, discussing and addressing current and future needs of health management.
